At Family Piano Co. we offer a variety of music classes and lessons including private lessons for piano, voice, and most orchestral / band instruments.

    Prices
  • 15 minutes - $10 (only for children 5 and under, or for special needs students)
  • 30 minutes - $20 (traditional length)
  • 1 hour - $35

Family Discounts are available (only to immediate family members):
1 student - $20
2 students - $35

Lesson prices and group class rates are as of January 1, 2012, and are subject to change without notice. Lesson and group class tuition fees do not include the cost of lesson materials.

Beginning Music Lessons

Adult Beginning Piano (ages 15 and up). This is a casual, supportive environment designed for adult and teen learners. The class meets for 1 hour each week for 10 week semesters, beginning in January, March, June and September. Pre-registration is required.

Commonly Asked Questions
  1. Can I practice on an electronic keyboard?
    We encourage practicing on a traditional acoustic piano, although keyboards are acceptable in some situations.
  2. How do payments work?
    Private lessons - tuition is billed monthly and is due by the first lesson of each calendar month. Group lessons - tuition is due in full at the beginning of each semester.
  3. Will there be opportunities to perform?
    Yes! We have student recitals for all ages and experience levels as well as student jazz jams and concerts.
  4. What are the benefits of studying piano?
    Piano lessons are very beneficial for both children and adults. For children it benefits educational skills used in reading, science, and math. It also helps develop fine motor skills, hand/eye coordination as well as brain and memory development.
    Adults who study music enjoy better emotional and physical health. They also have the benefit of personal satisfaction, increased confidence, coordination, enhanced memory and concentration.
